Today I feel extremely tired and sleepy. I wonder why.
Even after the Power Yoga class, I did not feel energised. I think it is the lack of sleep.

Lack of sleep really makes a difference in my practice… I feel so sleepy and blur. Even the wheel pose did nothing to energise me.

Just so tired. My body just wants to melt into the ground and my eyes to shut. Savasana was heaven at the end of the class. :)

This book is by B.K.S Iyengar.

Excellent book with lots of pictures of Iyengar himself doing all the poses ( over 600 pictures ). It is a great reference book for a learning student like me. Not only does the book show the asana but also explains the reason why the asana is named as such. For each asana, there is also its equivalent sanskrit, step by step instruction on how to go into the pose and the benefits it has for the body.

If you can only afford one book and you are a beginner, I highly recommend this book! I think my copy is getting the “dog ears”.. yikes.
