My wrist is back

Yes, I think my wrist has finally gotten well. For 1-2 weeks my left wrist has been hurting while doing poses that involves weight on the wrist while bending like bridge pose. It all started with a harmless full bridge pose. Some how my wrist decided that my body weight was too much for it to bear… This is a clear indication of doing a pose without listening to your body.

I may have during the pose moved too much weight onto my left wrist and hence causing that pain that lasted so long. Indeed, a lesson learnt for me.

Indeed to do any pose is easy. Trust me, it is easy, just follow the exact position. However, to do it with awareness and effortless and light for some time is a BIG BIG challenge!

Monday I took a little break from yoga to rest from the weekend of wild lotus. During Monday, thinking over what happened over the weekend, I can’t help but feel blessed that I am healthy and fit and able to attend yoga classes. Sometimes things happening in your life might oeverwhelm you. But by taking a step back and looking at yourself, and just being grateful for what you have and what you can do, helps to put things into perspective and the feeling of overwhelm will just go away.
