Yes, I am getting some progress with my head stand… well finally… After my long break of 4 long days from any yogic exercise… I am back in action. Today I went to an inversion class which focuses on just inverted poses! Fun!
We did headstand ( of course, normal one and the tripod ), handstand and forearm balance. One toughie was going from crow up to handstand… with a partner helping of course.
I still cannot understand why I cannot do headstand. Such a simple pose and yet, it has taken me eons to get it right. Everytime I think I am near to getting it, well, it just aint there. Balance in the upside down fashion is not something that normal people do. How do I feel the balance? What am I supposed to feel when I am balanced? I am seeking that point. How do I know I am balanced whenI am upside down? I needto know that feeling before I know which feeling to stay in in order to balance. Like standing up.We have our liquid in the ears to help us balance. But when we are upside down, what do we depend on? I wonder.
Very true.
Always concentrate on breathing. In, out, deep in and let the breath reach all areas and deep out, let the breath flow. With this breathing, flow in and out of the vinyasa/poses. Indeed it is not an easy thing to do but breath is important.
Ok here i go again. This time not very pleased with the way the host handled the matter. Om~
I wanted to post about a class I went to 3 days ago. BUt now I cannot really remember what I wanted to blog… hmm
Anyway today I went to another class by another good teacher. It was quite some time since I went for her class. I must say I really missed her class, her style is always focusing on how you feel after each pose, asking your body and feeling the sensation after each pose. I like that. It is listening to your body, not judging, just listening. Very good class. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
imagine that.. no where to blog my yoga experiences… hahaha
