So what is the relationship between Yoga and Scruffy?
He is here right by me. He refused to let me go for my yoga class. Oh man.
He is such a “cat”, such a scaredy “cat”. He simply cannot be left home alone… he gets lonely and gets easily scared. He will whimper and act totally helpless.
So here I am watching him doing “downward dog” and “upward dog” and even “three-legged downward dog” ( hmm…that’s how a dog pees… ) …
Wow… Being away from my yoga is not easy.
You just miss that feeling of peace and satisfaction after each session.
Currently I am feeling very tired. Like the brain is totally fried. I think I need a headstand or handstand to get the blood flowing to my brain again.
om~
After a break of several weeks from the tough classes, today I went for one tough class.
Woah… its either the muscles have lost it or I am getting older. Just so tiring.
There used to be only exploding triangle. Now we did exploding partial triangle and exploding side full plank (followed by exploding side plank to wheel… ). The whole class was exploding! haha…
exploding “whatever” pose is just to go further in the pose by doing opening of chest and sometimes with backbend in the pose.
Yesterday class was on breathing again. This time round I think I have improved in my breathing in. Less “Stutters” as I try to take in more at the end of the breath. Haha… we did some interesting poses while focusing on our breaths, not all are the hatha poses but many are exercises ( much like in qigong type ) like what indian yoga teachers do in their hatha classes except teacher keeps asking us to breathe in deeply and out deeply ( 4 counts in and out, longer if possible ).
I missed his workshops. Yes. And I am hearing alot of good reviews of Mark Whitwell’s workshops.
Even so, I feel I am very lucky. I have a teacher who went and he is bringing Mark’s teachings and what he learnt or experienced during Mark’s workshops to his classes. I am blessed to have such a teacher.
