May there be peace and love in the new year.
For 2006, I have much to be thankful for - family, loved ones, old friends, new friends, the people that briefly touched my life, the people whom had given to me. I am thankful and glad to have lived and loved, being healthy, living in a safe country with roof over my head. ![]()
When life gets to me (you know, sometimes when you feel overwhelmed? or you learn about things you are not supposed to know or you feel life is not fair to you - we all get that time to time… ), I just think of those things that I am thankful for and I realised that I really have alot… , alot more than many people and far more fortunate than many.

For the past 8 days, I did not manage to go for any yoga classes in KL. Instead I did tried one short session of self practice. ( er… just enough to get me perspiring
)
On last Thursday, I went rock climbing for the very first time with Fendi. It was exciting for me and I thought, “man, it’s gonna be cool” like those from the movies. I just watched Mr & Mrs Smith (playing movie catchup), there was this scene where Angelina Jolie was rock climbing with her gal pal with a National Geographic gorgeous backdrop. So cool if I could do that.

Spending Christmas in Kuala Lumpur with someone you love and good friends at a cosy jazz place is fabulous.
I have in fact gone to the same joint called No Black Tie for the second time yesterday.
This is for a good cause. Raising funds for innocent lives, those children of the men and women who have died during the Iraq war. If you have the time, do spare a measly 2 hrs to attend this meaningful class of “mass praying” using your body. Not only will you be helping those children , but you will also be helping your own body. Doing 108 of sun salutations seemed scary but trust me, it’s not!
Yesterday Patrick was in town to teach the special Wild Lotus classes. He is the director of yoga at Pure yoga. I have been to his previous workshops when he was in Singapore and have enjoyed them tremendously.
This time round, there were many more people in the class, 55 of us if I am not wrong.
And it was “HOT” class… literally speaking. Everyone around me was perspiring and dripping all over. Gosh…it was a “sweat”shop!
However it was still good as he gave all of us a tiny taste of what’s to come next in workshops in the 2 days that follow. His yoga style is Anusara and this is the type of yoga I truly enjoy :
