Some of us love a good workout from time to time. And there are some who are simply addicted to workouts.
Well yesterday class was a workout class that many in the class enjoyed. It has been a long time since I went for such tough class that will have you “dying”. Last time there was a few teachers that has classes like that but now there are fewer.
I love an occasional workout class no doubt. Maybe it is a psychological effect to oneself that you have burned off alot of unwanted fats somewhere compared to a slower moving yoga class. ( in the first place, people not into practising yoga do not know that yoga is great for losing some unwanted pounds… for this purpose, i highly recommend doing Ashtanga yoga Doing everyday will surely burn off much of the fats!)
I used to be in that kinda mode to workout and to burn off fats. But now as my practice goes deeper, I prefer to learn the intricacies of each pose, how to engage the body into more ease in that pose and the expression of each pose. Slowly. Ha! Maybe I am getting lazy or older, I don’t know. ( talking about older… I feel another year is upon me very soon… om )
And the pectoral muscle is still nagging at me…
