I read with interest this particular blog about yoga. The author mentioned that there was a question by someone who asked why this yoga guru has died of heart attack at the age of 96. To this guy, if yoga is so good, then why this yoga guru has died of heart attack and not of natural death. Here is the original post :
There are always skeptics. Nothing in this world is capable of letting you live forever! Yoga is not a myth and neither is it a miracle “pill” that can help you live forever. It is like saying if I live super healthy with proper exercise I can live forever…. Your lifespan and how you die is very much dependent on your genetics as well as how you live your whole life.
Nope. Nothing is forever.
But I know for a fact that yoga is beneficial to everyone and can be done by everyone.
For me, here are the benefits yoga has brought me :
Physical Benefits
1. Lose weight of 3 kg after 2 months of practice
2. Muscles are toned.
3. Running and walking becomes lighter, never out of breath
4. Fat reduction in the body
5. Increased flexibility
6. Increased strength
7. No more neck pain
8. Increased grace
Mental Benefits
1. Awareness of my body
2. Appreciation of myself
3. Reduction of stress
4. Able to sleep better every night
These are just some of the benefits off the top of my head that yoga has brought me.
For me, I will always be a student of yoga… for life… ~OM

For goodness sake. The yoga master is 96. He lives past the world average lifespan of current humans.
And isn’t dying due to heart attack a natural death? If he died with his heart spitting out of his mouth – that’s unnatural.

Dear Yoga Blogger,
I am contacting you regarding a blog survey I am conducting. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mass Communication at Penn State and my dissertation project consists of a survey that looks at bloggers’ perceived motivations for and effects of their blogging.
I am sending the survey to a number of bloggers, and I would like to invite you to participate in it as well. Participation should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. I would appreciate it tremendously if you would be willing to take the survey. If you decide to do so, please follow the link below:

I would be very happy to share the findings of my study with you once it is completed!
If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
Thank you in advance,
Carmen

Hi Ruby, I totally agree. If living until 96 isn’t something, I don’t know what is.
The great thing is that the yoga guru has contributed much during his life and that is what’s more important.
Hi Carmen,
Thanks for the invitation. I have done the study for ya! Do let me know the results. Your study will be pretty interesting. If there’s any other help, you need, let me know.. I’ll try to help.
