The reason I am asking this is that today I woke up with a bad case of cold… I am practically dripping glooey nose “stuff”… *ACHOO*… *sPLat*
Is there anyway to cure a bad cold using yoga? Perhaps some pranayama that can help?
Can’t think proper either and stomach has been acting up… cannot even digest simple food like bread.
On the bright side, my cold only came after my Taipei trip
Thank goodness! One of the friends who went with me was down for 2 days with vomiting and suffered fever with boughs of cold. At one point, she was even shivering with white lips even with 3 layers of sweater on her. But luckily she recovered on the third day.
If anyone has a quick natural cure for running nose, send me a comment (not chicken soup.. it didn’t work for me )… I need one, please share!… I think I am running out of tissues soon ( plus I am missing all my yoga classes… curses!
)

This is not a cure, but surely you can do this ‘exercice’ as a prevention once you get cured of your cold.
It’s a type of pranayam called Bhastrika (Bellows). But it has to be practiced regularly, and you shouldn’t do it when you have the cold.
Once you are cured, should start doing this regularly, it will surely improve your respiration system, and prevent another cold.
