Haha…. today’s Anusara 2 class was excellent. I always enjoyed Anusara classes and the philosophy and teachings behind it especially now that the yoga studio I go to officially named these classes Anusara.
Much teachings on Anusara are based on these few techniques that John Friend developed (I am still a student… so anyone, please correct me if I am wrong; all the following is based solely on my own understanding from Bo’s Anusara teachings )… These are the techniques that have helped me ALOT in my yoga practice and continues to do so during each and every class I go to. :

Finally my cough is clearing up. But I do feel the body re-adjusting to daily yoga regime again. For the last 2 days, I had some muscles ache which was rare before my trip and sick break.
In fact, during the last stage when we were all in Savasana, I had cramps in my leg. We had to tense the muscles in each part of the body before totally releasing and dropping to the floor. This is actually an useful way for one to relax the body. However, when I earnestly tensed the muscles in my right leg, the calf muscles just went into a “cramp” mode. The contraction of the muscles was very intense and was soooo painful that the leg curled in pain.
