After practicing for almost 2 years, yoga is still amazing to me. A process of continuous discovery and learning.

Like yesterday, we had the fortune of having a guest teacher Stephen to come teach us. Sometimes a break from our usual practice is great and allows us to make new discovery about ourselves.

He saw other quirks in our practices that our usual teachers did not see. He made us aware of certain aspects in the practice. He highlighted how we should be aware and observe the parts of the body that get “tensed” during a pose.

Nothing is constant. Even a simple yoga pose is not constant. Every yoga pose is constantly “in motion” when we breathe and the body move with your breath ( even in subtly ). And every wonderful yoga pose is a manifestation of your body expressing itself. I always loved Anusara yoga as it is about love and grace ( anusara means grace… and one day I hope to study under John Friend! :) ).
