My Favorite Yoga Poses At The Moment

I realized that as I grow and learn more and more about yoga, the yoga poses that you enjoy start to change and your thoughts and feelings about each yoga pose also changes. The biggest change was the fact that I enjoy each yoga class and am able to assimilate much more, and perhaps gain an understanding to a certain degree to whatever the teacher is saying.

This fact hit me yesterday when I went for a class by a teacher who was standing in for Heeboon. He asked all of us to introduced ourselves and to let the rest know how long we have been practicing yoga. I can’t believe it! I have done yoga for almost 2 years! It seems to be like only yesterday…

I have many favorite yoga poses… but my favorite ones are those that I can express myself fully and those that took me a long time to master ( AKA difficult poses which I cannot do at the beginning and took me a long time to finally learn how to ) :

1. Pigeon

2. Handstand against the wall…
Took me more than 6 months to finally conquer the fear and to be able to kick up against the wall. It was a long walk but it was well worth it.

3. Half Moon and the variations

4. Wheel

5. Triangle

Number 6? Hopefully my headstand!
