After practicing for almost 2 years, yoga is still amazing to me. A process of continuous discovery and learning.
Like yesterday, we had the fortune of having a guest teacher Stephen to come teach us. Sometimes a break from our usual practice is great and allows us to make new discovery about ourselves.
He saw other quirks in our practices that our usual teachers did not see. He made us aware of certain aspects in the practice. He highlighted how we should be aware and observe the parts of the body that get “tensed” during a pose.
His practice is very much into the energy, how direct the energy etc. Hmmm…
A bit of qigong / taiji was introduced at the end of the practice to “smoothen” the energy.
