It has been a week since I did any headstand. Now that my neck strain recovered from the left and right pain, the pain has crept down onto the middle of the back neck on the right side. I went for 2 yoga class while still nursing this pain but I skipped out all the inversions and shoulder stands. It probably seemed to the yoga teacher that I am having my “moon cycle”… :P

Perhaps it is time to look for a chinese sinseh to “iron” out the final kinks in the neck or just lay low on yoga?

The only concern is all my hard work that I done so far for my headstand will be wasted… will I forget how to? :(

But the most important thing is to get the neck pain totally out before I attempt any other pose that can cause further stress to the neck and that includes headstand. I guess the best way is to let the neck rest and perhaps go for a nice hot yoga ( someone says it can help… ).
