The inevitable has happened.
Skipping of many classes and continuous “food fest” has resulted in my wayward tummy coming back.
I can feel the tummy edges hanging over… arggggh…. luckily the rest of the body seems to be holding up to the original shape.
Time to get back into yoga frenzy mode!
And to stop eating so much food. So… no more solid food after 8pm, less oily food, more soupy food and NO MORE potato chips!
This is not my new year resolution… but this is my MUST DO NOW….

It’s fast. Another year has passed and it’s Christmas again.
As I was preparing and cooking for tonight’s Christmas party, I was doing it with a yoga mind and body.
What do I mean?
Mind is at peace and finding that being surrounded by family and friends. ( albeit thinking about fruit salads, log cake and all the yummy food that will be there at the party ) Furthermore, finding new real true friends that have the same goals and aspirations both at work and at yoga (unselfish and supporting).
I am lucky.
It’s amazing how time flies.
Two years has gone by just in a blink of an eye.
It is amazing…

Back to Anusara.
Back to basics.
Great to go back to basics and experience each delicious pose. The alignment of each pose. How each and every part of our body is interconnected to the other. And how each of us in the class connect to the rest of the people in the room - through mind and body.
And it’s great to sing the Anurasa invocation again.
Patrick reminded us of our very first yoga class.
I did not want to write this. But hey… pardon the title of the post and the following outburst….
Ok, I was offended when I read this : imperfectyogi.blogspot.com/2007/11/anus-tribe.html
The way he wrote about Anusara was downright insulting. I can understand if he said that Anusara yoga did nothing for him (most likely he don’t understand *%^ about the anusara principle ) but to insult? Downright un-yoga like in my opinion…. yes, I am feeling pissed and most sad that such a person is teaching yoga and that I have attended his classes before which (- note I have never criticized before ) I never seemed to learn anything from him even though it was a level 2 class. ( i think I learnt much much more from Bo’s Hatha 1 class… )
