And it really will…
It most aptly applied to any yoga pose. So long as you practice, practice and more practice, the pose will come to you eventually – one day!
It is however, never “One Day” without patience, your understanding of your body, listening to what your body tells you, practicing with awareness.
Progression is inevitable if you keep on practicing, never forcing but gently persisting in your efforts. You body will eventually be conditioned and some how such consistent efforts will pay off, maybe slowly, maybe in small little progressions… and the suddenly, one day, you’ll just be able to go into the pose! When the pose comes, it just comes to you unexpectedly! And the feeling is ‘ay, woa’ and then just pure delight!
In the beginning of practicing yoga, the progression was very fast as your body get conditioned and of course, there was a lot of passion and interested when everything was new! I was even crazy enough to go for 3 classes a day… good times back then.
Now, progression has trickled but still I can see improvement in areas that I work on. One example is my shoulders and arms. I used to have very stiff shoulder rotation and can’t do my Cow Faced pose ( Gomukhasana ) without using a small towel. Now amazingly after daily practice on my own, I am able to reach and hold my hands.
So, I am still waiting for my “one day” for my headstand…:P now is building the courage and the fearlessness in me. Slowly but surely… ONE DAY!

Nice article. Thanks.
