Wow! Since watching Twilight and 4 books later, is the much awaited trailer for New Moon ready? Although I was not a fan of the book New Moon ( also agreed by many of my friends ), I am still eagerly anticipating for the next movie to be release so that I can watch the cool vampires with a romance to boot.
I can’t believe it…
I have been to hiking to 3 mountains already! I am amazed with myself!
*feeling smug*
I admit, I am a city gal all my life. A docile person who prefers to curl up in bed with a book any day. I have been wondering why I am so into mountain climbing now…
But it is a good break from all the mumbo jumbo of city life. You get to think about nothing else but about how to survive the climb up and down. Haha!
As one Anusara teacher twittered to me ( the amazing tool - twitter that connects us all !! ) ” Open to Grace! ~ It’s ALWAYS there, just step back into the flow” - Gotta go with the flow!
Just the other day, something happened that showed me that the universe is listening.
Some of my friends were planning to go for 2 trips, one to Sarawak ( another climbing expedition ) and also a trip to Bali (climb volcanoes?). The two trips were already pre-arranged amongst several of them since last year and they have already gotten tickets at promotional prices to go. I was late to the party but I really wanted to go to Bali as I have never been there and I’ve always wanted to go there to see the volcanoes ( fascinating! ).
It’s been a week after I came back from Mount Ophir.
The climb of Mount Ophir was a true test of will power… through and through!
Before the climb, I was doing my weekly puny Bukit Timah hill climb, trying to train. And all of us on the trip was expecting a relatively simple climb. HAH! It turned out otherwise…
Yesterday was my first attempt in trekking/climbing a hill other than Singapore puny hill of Bukit Timah. And also my first attempt of waking up at 5am in the morning. Waking up at 5am really was not a problem especially when you did not sleep at all…
All in the group were supposed to meet at the Woodlands checkpoint at 7-7.30am. Then once all of us go over to Johor Bahru, we went to meet the bus that was booked for this trip.
