Can we have more classes by Charat? His classes are great for
people who are interested in pranayama and deeper understanding of
yoga sutras. His level 2 yoga classes are also excellent when he has
them in the past. Also I am concerned that why many of the level 2
classes are always removed whenever there is an ongoing workshop. Eg,
when patrick was here, the power2 classes were all taken out leaving
us level 2 students no class to attend. Not all of us are going for
the paid workshop fyi. thanks

Pu** reply to Letter 1
=================

Hi Lesley

Thanks for your feed back.

Yes it happened when Patrick workshop or any workshop are going on, we
need to cancel level 2 classes,

That’s our standard operating process.

I’m extremely sorry if it’s inconvenient.

Feel free to call me for further queries.

Thanks

Best Regards

Ha… seems that I am being brushed off… oh well, me tiny weeny member….

Since then, I talked to some of the other members and they felt the same way too! Not surprising! Some of them asked me to write in again and this time to include their names. Soon, news spread and many more of them asked me to add their names in…

Well, here’s my letter to them…

My letter to studio – Letter 2
======================

In a recent feedback to Pu**, I had raised up the concern that level 2 classes were cancelled whenever there are any paid workshops. I was given a weak reason that it was a “Standard Operating Procedure”.

Many of us here are long time members at Pu** since it started. In the beginning, the management was great, sincere and always professional. In fact, some of us were so impressed with Pu** and the teachers that we signed up in spite of having another membership elsewhere ( we thought Pu** was different from the rest). There were never such cancelling of classes during workshops ( back then, these workshops by internal teachers even Patrick were free for members which is logical ) unless the classes had only 1 or 2 students and the students were agreeable to cancel them. This to me was most professional. However, as time goes by, the management changed and so does many of the operations.

We are disappointed that Pu** has taken this stance to adhere to this standard operating procedure of cancelling level 2 classes during paid workshops. Many of us, perhaps may miscontrue to believe that this is a ploy by Pu** to get its members to pay additional fee on top of our monthly membership fee to go for workshops by their own teachers. I hope not. The recent internal workshop which is free was conducted without cancelling any classes leaves many of us wondering if it was the case.

If so, then it is only fair that Pu** can return us the amount of membership fee we have paid for the days that the classes were removed due to the workshop. One good example is the upcoming Patrick’s workshops. Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun level 2 classes are all gone. This does not sit well with all the level 2 students at all. Why are we paying for the days when we cannot go for classes at all during these days ?

If Pu** is going to tell us that the excuse is not having enough studios, then this is what we have to say :
We are paying for classes conducted in the studio space and NOT paying for studio space for Pu** to conduct additional workshops charged at additional cost using the studio space meant for Level 2 classes. It is not ethical at all.

Please put back all the level 2 classes regardless of any workshops. This is only fair to everyone who is paying a membership at Pu**.

All of us listed here with our names and membership numbers are very unhappy over this, please feel free to contact any one of us. In your reply, please reply to all of us here too :

<List of the Members>

There are simply many more of us who are feeling the same way and I am sure some of them have already given their feedback.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

I am waiting for their reply…
